Institut Kemahiran Sabah (IKS) is a skills-based education and training centre dedicated to empowering the local community in Sabah. We provide practical, career-focused programs for youth who may not have access to traditional higher education due to academic or financial limitations.
At IKS, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future. Our courses are designed to equip students with real-world skills in areas like agriculture, hospitality, tourism, and other key industries relevant to Sabah’s economy. Whether you’re looking to start your own business, gain hands-on experience, or improve your job prospects, we’re here to support your journey.
What we do
At Institut Kemahiran Sabah, IKS, we provide hands-on, practical training for young individuals looking to develop valuable skills for the workforce. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of local industries, with a focus on agriculture, hospitality, tourism, and technical trades.
But what we do goes beyond teaching skills, we’re here to uplift the community. IKS offers second chances to those who may not have completed formal education, opening doors to a better future through real, employable skills. Whether it’s self-sufficiency, small business creation, or steady employment, our goal is to help every student build a path toward lifelong success.
